As many of our regulars will know, Will Fox, a good friend of Mr Domoney, is greatly
involved with big cat projects in South Africa. One of these is the Ingwe leopard
project, which gathers data about the movements of local leopards by radio-satellite
tracking. This is then used to educate the locals about living with leopards, rather
than seeking to trap and kill every one they come across.

In turn, the project also supports local schoolchildren, and we have sent some small
items from the UK to help them a little bit. We have had the privilege of delivering
some toothbrushes last year, and some pens and pencils earlier this year. We also
took more toothbrushes and a large map of the world to help their education.

Whilst it might seem a better idea (in our eyes),  to perhaps send cash, it is not
allowed by the school's rules, and there would be no guarantee what the money
would be spent on.

What seems like a trivial gift to us, it is a massive help for the teachers and learners
at Bosfontein, and it was fantastic to see their faces light up when they each got a
writing implement.
A massive thank you from the children at Bosfontein, to those of you who gave us pens and
pencils to deliver, and for the donations of money which we used to buy further supplies. In total
we delivered well over 1000.
